Join us to celebrate Latinx Heritage Month at Virtual Family First Sunday on September 6! We will have a special guest, Illustrator Alyssa Bermudez, who will read her book Lucía the Luchadora and talk about what it’s like to be an illustrator! Then we’ll create our own luchador and luchadora masks inspired by Lucía!
Supplies needed for making a mask:
- Mask template
- Printer & paper
- Anything to color with – crayons, markers, colored pencils, or water colors.
- Scissors
- Tape
- Twine, ribbon, or string
