Join us for Family First Sundays: Snow Globes on January 3 at 11am PST! Watch the videos below and download the activity instructions to learn how to create your own snow globe inspired by the Prometheus Project Snow Globe. Enjoy a book reading of Snow Globe Wishes written by Erin Dealey and illustrated by Claire Shorrock to hear “a lyrical holiday story about wishes and community and snow–lots and lots of snow.”

Snow Globe supplies needed:

  • A mason jar
  • Water-resistant glue or acrylic finisher (Gorilla glue or Mod Podge Gloss Finisher will do)
  • Water
  • 1 bottle of Glycerin
  • Glitter
  • Some plastic animals or toys
  • Distilled or bottled water (often more clear than tap water but you can use tap water)
  • Optional: trees, faux grass, white chalk paint, hot glue gun, acrylic sealing spray
